There will be a 2-hour delay at RSU 89 today, December 11, 2024. This will no longer be an Early Release day. Students will be dismissed at 2:20pm. Be safe and we look forward to seeing you a little bit later this morning!
Please join us for our Winter Concert and Integrated Arts Show at KES on Thursday, December 12th, at 5 pm. All students, PK-5 will be performing. Arrive a little early to purchase tickets for our Festival of Trees event as well!
Katahdin Drama Club will be performing 4 Short Holiday Stories on Thursday, December 19th and Friday, December 20th at 5PM in the KMHS Auditorium. Admission & Refreshments will by donation.

Students from KMHS participated in the Wreaths Across America ceremony at the Patten Cemetery on November 30th.

Our Katahdin Elementary School Book Fair will be open November 25- December 6. It will also be open during our Student Led Conferences Thursday, December 5 at 3:00 to 7:00 pm and Friday, December 6 at 8:00 to 11:00 am. Remember, there is no regular school day for the elementary school on December 6th. Students will only come in if they have a conference.

Saturday, December 7: Nicol Sponberg & Cathy Pond-Evans 6:00 pm
Thursday, December 12: Elementary Winter Concert and Art/Library Show 5:00 pm
KMHS is hosting a Christmas Movie Night on December 6th at 6:30. There is a $1 entry fee, and concessions will be available. See the attached flyer for more details. Proceeds benefit the Sophomore class.

Happy Halloween š»ššWe celebrated Halloween with many different costumes today. High school students competed for Cougarfest points. The 10th grade came in first, the 12th grade came in 2nd, the 9th grade came in third and the 11th grade came in fourth.
