NHS Beautifies Patten for Memorial Day Weekend 🌼
Members of the National Honor Society planted flowers around the town of Patten yesterday in preparation for Memorial Day. Be sure to check out their beautiful work as you pass through town this weekend!
Katahdin's Drama Club presents the production of The Secret Garden adapted by Gary Peterson on Wednesday, June 11 at 6:00PM at the KMHS Auditorium. Please come and support our students and have a night of entertainment.

Enrollment Forms are being accepted for Summer Academy for grades 1 through 6. These grades are the grades your child will be in this Fall. If you would like your child to attend, please request an enrollment form by calling Katahdin Elementary at 365-4285 or emailing gpocock@rsu89.org
The deadline for completed enrollment forms is May 30th.
Today, May 14 is an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 11:15.
The LAST ASP date is Thursday, May 15th.
Food pantry is this Thursday, May 15 and is open to the public at 3:00.
Field day is June 6th. Students should come prepared to get wet with a change of clothes and a towel. Please remember to apply sunscreen and bug spray at home.
Bikes for Books program is in full swing at KES. Students will earn tickets when they read a book and turn in their logs to the teacher. One boy and one girl from each grade level will win a brand new bike.
Members of National Honor Society volunteered at the Special Olympics held in Presque Isle last Friday.
High school National Honor Society students put on a dinner for Middle School
honor roll students. We had approximately 60 people in attendance. We all enjoyed an Italian bash meal cooked by our kitchen staff.
