Attention Middle School Parents: Students will be participating in a snowshoeing adventure with Mrs. Hanson and KWW tomorrow, February 27, 2023. . Please be sure to send your child with warm gear--hats, mittens, coats, boots, etc. to help make this an enjoyable experience. KMHS will provide the snowshoes and the trail! An AlertNow reminder will go out tomorrow afternoon as well. Thank you for your support.

During February break, please keep the KMHS student parking lot vehicle-free since we will have snowbank removal going on to clean up the snow. This is common each February break and necessary to keep everything running smoothly for school traffic as spring approaches. Thank you for your cooperation.

High Schoolers at KMHS have been gearing up in Outdoor Education (ODE) for their midterm--the preparation that goes into such a hands-on learning is vital to the ODE experience. What you won't see in the photos is the background in safety procedures, the critical thinking skills utilized, the rich discussions about responsibility and interconnections between self, nature, and learning, and the health benefits that come from working in the outside environment. What you DO see is engaged students using the skills they've been taught to successfully complete their midterm!
