Ethan sang Beautiful Crazy by Luke Combs and left the audience speechless. Many not knowing he even sang. One great things about these presentations- we learn about the whole person. Dom- tried to breakdown the steps to developing a character for D &D. Not sure we could be competitive but most of us got the hang of it. Thanks guys!!

Justin demonstrated for everyone how to do maintenance on your automobile to keep it running smoothly for a long time. Oil changes should be easier now …. Maybe not. Victoria shared evidence of her four years of school sharing moments of joy and challenges. She has found great friendships and team spirit while playing softball. She put together a slide show for us.

Last week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday senior students shared their portfolio presentations with staff, family and friends. This project is worked on during Senior Seminar. This project is a graduation requirement for our district. The project includes written documentation supporting evidence from various courses over all four years of school. Yes, it’s a lot for sure. Students present this portfolio then share a demonstration of something they are good of, proud if, have potential for a job, hobby, etc…. There will be a series of posts to share pictures for all students. ENJOY First - Emily with dog training and Eric with car/ truck detailing.

In forensic science sometimes the only evidence left at a crime scene is trace evidence. Many times this evidence is in the form of an impression like tire tracks or footprints in the soil. Forensic scientists can create casts of these impressions and analyze them in the lab to identify type of tire/vehicle type or type of shoe, size of shoe, and estimated height of the individual. Students used their knowledge of casting impressions to make casts of their own shoe impressions in sand in the classroom, and also went in the woods around the school making casts of impressions left by animals.
