Students in the 3rd grade have been active learners in math, working on solving story problems using four different operations. After exploring various strategies, they found methods like counting by numbers or fair sharing to help solve the problems. This requires students to carefully read to understand what the stories are sharing for information and to find what is missing before attempting to solve.
