POSITIVE Covid-19 cases are still required to isolate per Federal and State guidelines. Close contacts no longer are required to quarantine but should closely monitor for symptoms after exposure.
How to count your isolation period:
Day 0 is onset of symptoms OR if no symptoms the day of the positive test.
Isolation is 5 days (no symptoms) or 5 days plus however many days are needed until fever free for 24 hours without medication and/or symptoms are resolving.
After isolation a well fitting mask must be worn through day 10 from symptoms onset or test date. Any individuals who are high risk should be avoided during the mask period.
On Day 11 - All positive individuals are able to return to normal as long as there is no persistent fever or severe symptoms.
May 4 2022: Covid-19 kits (5 test per box) were distributed to every student and staff member of RSU 89. All tests were provided free by DHHS to our students and staff.
